About Davinder Mahal

I'm Davinder Mahal; web developer, writer, producer, editor, audio mixer, woodworker, programmer, and entrepreneur.

I have never been able to just choose one profession and stick with it. I want to do so many things, ranging from writing, to media development, to engineering. Therefore, I've decided to do as many as I can. I've been given the chance to pursue my dreams and my entrepreneurial drive by forming a variety of companies that bring these areas together. Over the years I've been involved with DSM Cyber Media, Festival News Crew, and R & R Studios.

I enjoy writing. I've written several articles and papers that I've published on my site, as well as some that have either been published else where or referenced from other sites. ( James Bond - History & Appeal, NASA's Challenger page ) I enjoy writing technical papers, how-to's, and such, as seen on my web site. I also enjoy screen writing. I definitely see myself writing more films. Hopefully, you'll all get to see one someday too!

apple

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm an Apple fan. I used my first Mac in 1993 and I was hooked. I read "Macs for Dummies" and from that point on I became the Mac dude in the family. From one Mac to another, I eventually landed an internship position at Apple Computer, Inc. in Cupertino in the summer of 2001. I worked on what is now the most popular piece of software Apple makes, iTunes.

bbc

I'm a massive fan of the BBC as I grew up in Nottingham, England. Therefore, the BBC was my favorite TV station. I practically watched TV all day 7 days a week. It was great. Nowadays, I listen to BBC Radio 1 all the time. My favorite show is the Chris Moyles Breakfast show.

I've created two Apple Dashboard widgets:
